When did you start growing food and why did you become involved with Growing Neighbors?

I have gardened since I was in grade school. I’ve been a part of growing neighbors for 3 years now.

What do you like to grow?

I love to grow beets. This year, I’m trying to layer potato starts in my compost bins. I’ve already developed a new strategy for next year. I am also doing pumpkins this year.

Who else is involved in the farmyard & related neighbor connections (i.e. friends, family, neighbors)?

Molly helps me. I have learned a lot from my brother Andy. He has given good ideas for my plot spaces.

Would you like to have neighbors contact you to help out or to harvest and enjoy the produce?

I share produce with my neighbors, work, the farmer’s market and my family.
